When the Bedding Company got in touch asking me if I would like to do a review for them, after a quick search around their website I accepted the offer. They had so many products to choose from, it was hard to make a decision on what to review, but I finally ended up going for something for Spud.
I went for the Silentnight Kids Bedset which contains a 6 tog single quilt, waterproof mattress cover and a pillow. I needed a new quilt set for Spud as the warmer weather headed our way and could not believe the unbelievable cheap price The Bedding Company sells the set for.
Silentnight is most probably the biggest name when it comes to anything to do with beds, its a brand I have used before on myself, and knew it would be perfectly fine to use for Spud. The Silentnight kids bedset is waterproof, washable, non-allergenic and has a hollow fibre filling.
The quilt and pillow has a polycotton cover with a soft hollow fibre filling and the mattress cover is polypropylene. As mentioned previously the quilt is a 6 tog meaning now the autumn approaches if Spud was to have this quilt on, he would need a thick blanket on top of him as well.
I must add that I received this product many, many months ago, before summer even began. However due to the long time that we have had this product for, I have been able to give it a proper and thorough review, the set has been washed and dryed and is still as perfect since the day we opened it.
The mattress protector is an added bonus, it features a durable PE coated cover & elasticated skirt for a secure fit to your children's mattress. As children are prone to having bed time accidents, if on one rare occasion a accident should happen, or even if a drink gets spilt, I don't have to worry about replacing the mattress due to the set's waterproof protection mattress cover.
The Silentnight Kids Bedset is available to buy from The Bedding company for a very reasonable price of £18.99. A cheap water proof mattress protector cost around £10 alone, this set is a complete bargain!
