I was delighted when I was given the chance to review a Love 2 Read book, one of Spud's stronger points at school is his reading, he loves stories and how amazed would he be to be reading his own story! Love 2 Read is a online company that turns your pictures and words into a cute personalised book for your child.

With Love 2 Read books you can either choose one of the many themed books the company has or you can create your own. I chose to create my own asking for the cover to be blue. I only had photo's from my mobile and I was warned by a dialog box that my photo's were not of high enough quality, I was worried as I decided to continue with the checkout process. I didn't need to worry though, when the book turned up the photo's fitted right in!
The online guide helps you to set up each page, giving you the option of what text you would like on each page, the photo you would like on each page and even the option to change the colour of each photo's border if you would like to (see photo below).
I chose some events from Spud's life that he doesn't forget and loves to tell everyone about, I couldn't think of a better way then to put his memories into his own special Love 2 Read book.
The words are printed in a large clear font, easy for a child to read and understand.
When you get to the end of making the book online, you get to see a preview of the book you have created before you submit your order. By doing this I just knew that Spud was going to love his new book just as much as me!

When you get to the end of the book, 2 keywords are printed a number of times, this could be a great help for children that have just started to read or non-confident readers.
My favourite part of the book is the last page of our order, all the photo's I selected on one page in miniature form.
This book is proudly sitting on Spud's bookshelf as I write this post, not that it stays there for long periods of time, Spud is always reading it to himself whilst admiring the photo's and smiling to himself.
I really do recommend this product, if your looking for a unique Christmas present for a child this year, Love 2 Read is a company that can help you! Suitable from birth it really is something that's suitable for all young children!
