It's November, Let's Get This Show on the Road!

It's November, the 11th month of the year and there is currently 48 days left until Christmas, however, unlike previous years, I have very little ready for the Christmas season! I've purchased a few small presents, yet I've still got a list as long as my legs to browse through, before hunting down the presents themselves!

It seems I'm not alone however, when I was talking to my sister on the phone earlier on, we reminisced on last year and all that we had done and brought, seeing as I was in the midst of a house move, I've no idea how I managed it, but I did! I just feel like I've got to my mid 20s and become more relaxed, however I'm now starting to panic, because there is less than 50 days left until the big day!

Both myself and my sister agreed that we need to stop searching for the sunshine, and instead prepare ourselves for the snow. Not only have we got presents to buy, a turkey to hunt down, and crackers to place on the tables, we've also got to think about the fashion trends that come along with Christmas, and I'm not talking about the Santa themed earmuffs and big red hats!

I'm talking about the snug cosy boots, the snow-boots, the hats, gloves and scarfs, I'm talking about the over sized cardigans, so big they could wrap around your body three times, and the extra thick socks and tights. I'm talking about the winter style coats and the thick chunky snoods, I'm talking realistically, and yet again, I've got carried away, I've gone past the idea of present buying and instead I'm worrying about the coat that'll keep me warm!

It's so terribly easy to procrastinate when we don't want to face reality, but with time not stopping for any of us, it's time to get our skates on. I've got lots of Christmas themed post coming up including the Dream Toys Top 12 Toys! I was very lucky to be able to attend the event with Gareth on Wednesday, getting to see the toys up close and in action, they was all brilliant and I can't wait to share them with you!

Then there's my advent feature too, where I will be showing off some lovely and brilliant calendars for 2015, and for the first time, on Unique Young Mum, I'll also be talking about the Elf on the Shelf! I purchased a few elf related buys today, all costing me under £5 which I can't wait to share with you all!

Lets get this show on the road, the 1st of November has officially passed, that means I can finally talk about Christmas without annoying anyone!

Wahoo!

Until next time,
Jada x
