A while ago, Trex got in touch with me to see if I'd like to take part in their Father's Day baking challenge, and although the challenge was to be posted on their website, I loved mine and Spud's creations so much, I've decided to share them here on the blog for you to check out yourself!

Info
Makes: One large flapjack. Bake time: Null. Chill time: 2 hours. Prep time: 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
120g Trex baking butter.
325g porridge oats.
50g caster sugar.
3-5 tbsp of golden syrup.
2 tbsp of stirred up smooth peanut butter.

Decorating Ingredients:
Reeces Pieces.
Melted Galaxy chocolate.
Giant Cadburys Buttons
Milkybar buttons.

Method:
1. Place the oats, sugar and baking butter into a bowl and mix for about five minutes until you had a smooth mixed together ball.

2. Beat 2 tbsp of peanut butter in a bowl until extra smooth and creamy, add the peanut butter into the main mixing bowl and mix for a further 2 minutes.

3. Add the golden syrup and stir until it is mixed in well, add more syrup for a more sweeter taste.

4. Place the mixed up ingredients into a small cake tin, or glass pyrex dish.

Decorate:
1. Melt broken up pieces of Cadbury's chocolate in a glass bowl on top of a pan of boiling water.

2. You can either cover the flapjack whole so the top is coated fully with chocolate, or you can do what I done and make a pattern of some sort, and drop the melted chocolate into desired places.

3. Decorate the flapjack with toppings of your choice, I topped the flapjack with Reeces Pieces, milk and white chocolate buttons.

4. Place the flapjack in the tin or dish into the fridge and leave to cool for 2 hours.

Peanut-Butter, Chocolate Heaven, No Cook Flapjack.
Is now complete, and ready to be enjoyed and eaten! Both me and Spud are big fans of peanut-butter, and do use it in a lot of our home bakes, this has got to be one of our top three favourites though!

Until next time,
Jada x
