Christmas With Gone Crabbing & Your Chance To WIN!

When my sister recently went on holiday they took a day trip to a local town not far from the area they was staying in. On the drive to the town, Baby Boo was car sick and needed a change of clothes. The only shop that sold children's clothes in the small town was very small and had a very small range of clothes for each age range, my sister brought my nephew a top which she liked best and it has become one of her favourites for Baby Boo to wear.

The make of the top is Gone Crabbing, me and my sister didn't think much of it until I was asked to review some bits from Gone Crabbing for my Christmas feature and we was disappointed that we had not thought to Google Gone Crabbing prior to me finding out thanks to my Christmas feature that they have their own website and a beautiful range of products.

Gone Crabbing Story

Gone Crabbing was launched in 2008 by Susie Mason, inspired by both her home county and the many beautiful coastal resorts she has visited all over the UK, Susie has created a fun and imaginative range of gifts and casual clothing which embraces our truly great British heritage, traditions, food, people and unique landscapes.

Having spent many happy hours crabbing with her children on local quaysides in Norfolk, Susie chose the famous Cromer Crab as the basis for her colourful designs. Gone Crabbing's popular little crustacean (affectionately known as ''Colin''), now features across Susie's distinctive brand.

Gone Crabbing is very much a family run business, and through the support of her stockist and local companies, Susie and her team hope that the popularity of her bright and contemporary designs will continue to grow and charm crabbing enthusiasts everywhere.

New products are appearing all the time, for example take a look at the great new soaps and beach towels from the beach and bathroom pages on the website, and the cheeky new greeting cards and coasters from the stationary and kitchen sections. Gone Crabbing has stockists in Norfolk and Suffolk, and in many other popular seaside resorts across the UK.

My Review

I was very lucky to receive three items for reviewing purposes from Gone Crabbing, I was given a limit and was allowed to pick out my own items. Looking around the website, I couldn't decide on what to go for, I changed my mind so many times as I kept coming across more and more products that I liked. I finally picked the items that I liked the most after so many changes of mind and when they arrived I knew straight away I went with the right choices!

£4.99 (previous price was £12.50)

These double oven gloves are a steal at their price! They are from Gone Crabbing's Great British Dishes range and are made from 100% cotton drill in the UK. The gloves feature many of Britain's favourite dishes including one of my favourite dishes bangers & mash! The gloves also feature a hanging loop so you can easily hang up your gloves for when they are not in use! The gloves are well padded which is needed within a oven glove to ensure we are not burnt!

Great British Dishes Apron - £6.99 (previous price £15.50)

Also from the Gone Crabbing's Great British Dishes range is this other bargain Great British Dishes apron - modelled by my sister in the photo above. Just like the double oven gloves, the apron features many of Britain's favourite dishes such as our famous Fish n Chips, Shepherd's Pie, Great British Fry Up, Toad in the Hole and many more lovely dishes. The apron is one size and has an adjustable neck strap that was quickly noticed by my sister with her remarking on the fact it would be good for any tall male cooks! The apron again like the oven gloves are made from 100% cotton drill in the UK.

Hanging Around In Cornwall Mug - £8.50

As some of you will know, my Mum moved to Cornwall earlier on this year which is a four hour drive away from me. I miss my Mum, little sister and step Dad very much, thankfully we have telephones and the internet to keep in touch nowadays but I still miss them dearly. To make me feel more in touch with my Mum, I decided to get this cup which has become my favourite tea cup of all time! The Hanging Around In Cornwall design is one of Gone Crabbing's best selling designs! It's produced in the UK, is dishwasher safe and made from bone china.
