My Take On The October Blog Tag

I've previously spoken (written) about my views on ''blogger tags'', I'm not the biggest of fans of them, and actually, cringe at some of the ones that have gone around over the years, because sometimes too much information isn't needed (or rather welcomed) at all, however the short and sweet ones I can tolerate. I'm still waiting on a blogger tag that is 100% Disney focused, but I'm yet to jump for joy at finding one, plus I don't actually get too many tags on things - maybe because of my views...!?

The most recent photo of me - just because you've got a face to these answers!

Thankfully, the lovely Karen from Really Missing Sleep is one of those blogger friends who I can always rely on, she seems to know just what subjects to tag me in, and what subjects to avoid at all costs, even if the conversation has run dry and you're sat there cringing wondering what to say next. Unless you're ready to give up a few hours of your time for the biggest debate you've ever had with me, some things aren't worth mentioning, for example - dare I say politics!? Karen tags me in lovely, positive, friendly blogger things - The October Blog Tag being one of them, and here is my spin (answers) on the questions asked.

LET’S START!

Name?
Jade (officially), but JADA is preferred.

What is your favourite colour?
Pink, all kinds of pink

What did you do today?
Woke up, had a 20-minute social media catch up, jumped in the shower and have since worked all day from the sofa in my Disney's Beauty and the Beast pyjamas!

Where are you currently?
In the living room (lounge/front room), on the sofa to be precise.

What is your star sign?
Taurus - has anyone just read this whilst saying ''I KNEW IT''!?

Cake or Ice cream?
Ice cream, unless its Betty Crocker cake, then it's cake all day long - yum.

Frozen or Moana?
You can't possibly ask me that question, I'm a hardcore Disney girl, that's like comparing my kids if I had more than one!!! Stop it!

A night in or a night out?
Night in - hands down, every single time, I have the best nights at home, or someone else's home, all you need is good friends, good drink and good music!

Home cooked meal or takeaway?
Home cooked always, takeaways are good, but my belly never agrees.

Pineapple on pizza or no pineapple on pizza?
This is like asking if peanut butter goes with jam - NO, don't do it!

Books or films?
BOOKS!!! Films never compare to a good book!

Autumn or spring?
That's a hard one, I'm going to have to say Spring.

Flowers or chocolates?
Chocolates, especially Galaxy!

Full fat or diet coke?
Full fat.

Phone or laptop?
Phone.

What is your current favourite TV series?
Haunting On Hill House.

What is your favourite thing to do in October?
Get the house ready for Halloween, although this year it will just be a pumpkin in the window as all my decorations are in the attic packed away and I have no time to get them sorted for this year :(

What is your current food to crave?
Cheese - it's not just currently, its every single day of every single year!

Do you have any piercings or tattoos?
One tattoo (Spud's name and date of birth with some stars), and piercings: two sets in my ears, belly, tongue and nose, but I removed all my jewellery from my piercings about a year ago.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Extrovert mainly, but I do have introvert strengths.

What is your all time favourite Halloween film?
Disney's Hocus Pocus obviously!

Name your top 3 favourite artists/bands.
Mary J Blige, Keyshia Cole and Beyonce.

Have you got any plans for Halloween?
Spud doesn't want to go Trick'or'Treating this year, so we'll spend the evening answering the door to other Trick'or'Treaters.

Do you have any fears?
SPIDERS ðŸ•·

Do you believe in life after love?
Of course ;)

Do you have any children? (or animals you treat as your babies).
Yes, one human child, and one fur (canine) child.

What do you want for your future?
Health, happiness, family, my babies and a home.

Be honest, why did you start blogging?
I had to quit my job after my son had his 3rd operation so I could be home to look after him, I used to enter competitions in my spare time, and discovered blogs and thought it would be a good idea for me to try one. I had my son when I was 15, and I wanted the world to know that not all teenage parents are bad parents, I wanted the stereotypical views to end, I wanted to be a voice for fellow teenage/young parents, and so my blog was born.

What is your biggest achievement so far?
In life - my son, in blogging - the friends I've made.

What are your ambitions with your blog?
To keep growing from strength to strength.

If there is one thing you’d like to change about your blog what would it be?
The name, I wish I gave it more thought, but I didn't know within two weeks of starting it, it was going to be as 'big' as it became, so the names stuck, only I don't feel young anymore!

Have you achieved any blog goals you set out to do this year?
Sadly not, I've had a LOT of personal issues going on, and my blog sadly got neglected due to this. However, I'm back and I don't plan on running away again anytime soon! I'm here to stay!

Where do you want to be in 10 years time?
I want to in this profession still somehow, I know I'll still have a blog, I couldn't be without my blog.

What is your dream holiday?
The Caribbean - one can dream yes!?

If you had an entire day to yourself what would you do?
I'd book myself into a spa hotel, I'd sleep for as long as I needed and I'd have no technology, I'd get massage after massage and lounge in the hot tub and spa, I'd get my nails and hair done, a proper pamper sesh, I'd eat a luxury meal and have alcoholic drinks alone. I'd be alone throughout it all, because I love my own space, and I'd enjoy the break away from Spud, my fiance and my dog - as much as I love them all, this mama needs some alone time every now and again!

So there we have it, 40 odd questions about me, now I'm tagging these fellow bloggers so I can have a nose at their answers ;)

Don't forget to use #OctoberBlogTag on social media to find other blogger's spin on this tag!
